First new refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first new refrigerator I have ever had. I went from living in apartments to my family home. With my mother’s 30+year old whirlpool. To my sister giving me her old fridge when that one finally died. So when I needed a new fridge of course I would get a whirlpool. This one is not only going to last but it’s beautiful!!! A little glitch with the installation. The water line just needed tightening a bit more. The morning after I received it I had a little flood in the kitchen. My husband moved it out a tightened it just a bit more now all is fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Minimal use - apartment-size refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new home came with the Whirlpool side by side refrigerator which we did not particularly care for. The refrigerator-side was just much too small for our household so we have moved it to our garage for extra refrigeration space. However, it does not allow for much tempture control and does not keep beer & sodas extremely cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't get for the water dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge itself is great and I love that it's fingerprint resistance. It leaked water from the dispenser for the first few days which apparently is normal despite flashing several galleons before consuming any water or ice as directed. That did resolve though. However, it still has issues. The ice dispenser shoots ice everywhere (in cubed or crushed setting). Even if you have a large glass, it gets on the floor. Furthermore, the cubed setting leaves ice in the chute. I realized this when I found piles of water on my floor even after the leaking had stopped. Several cubes don't fully dispense and sit there and then subsequently melt. So everytime I get ice, I try to fish those out which is a struggle. When reaching for the ice, your hand is touching the water dispenser so it accidentally sets off the water which creates more of a mess to clean. This happens pretty much everytime. So if you're buying this for the water and ice dispenser, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm deterred from getting ice which means I spent more to have a large space of my freezer taken up by something I won't use...

Nice looking but too noisy

It also has ample freezer space at the cost of refrigerator space. But it is so noisy, I can hear it from the bedroom which is not good for my sleep. I would like to exchange with a quieter model
