[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this now for just over a month. Like the size and the overall look of my Refridgerator, however….. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the Ice Maker!! Very slow to make ice- approx 8 cubes every 3 hours!! I use alot of ice and this is just not enough. My previous Whirlpool made ice much quicker than this. Finding I am having to buy ice from the store to top it up for my requirements! Think again about buying this refrigerator if you ice often.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Whirlpool refrigerator purchased in approximately the last 5 years. This one was purchased to match the decor in our new home. The previous purchase was a step up from this one and we were very happy with it. However, this one has controls that are more manual and an ice output that is disappointing to say the least.
The snowflake indicator is labeled to control "refrigerator temperature" and the slider is for the freezer. But according to the quick start guide it is both although it does not tell you how to tell when you're moving the refrigerator or freezer temperature.
The ice output was so low we searched on line for troubleshooting and found nothing to solve the issue. We finally put in a service call and the technician showed us how to set the temperature to get more ice. The output is better but not what we previously experienced on our other model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had 3 weeks now. Ice bin is way too large taking up too much room in the freezer. Shelves in freezer don't extend all the way to back wall. I realize this probably is to allow air circulation but still this limits capacity. Shelves don't slide forward to allow easier access to frozen foods & are locked in place & difficult to repostion. Water dispenser is very smooth/slick & glass tends to slide off (down) when filling water. I put a clear piece of package tape over the curved portion glass rests against to help.
