Loud and broke within first 6 months after purchas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is loud. Freezer side stopped freezing after 6 months of working. Technician stated Defrost Thermostat has to be replaced and it is know issue, apparently. Service from whirlpool is very poor and the order of any replacement part is taking more than a month. Calling and emailing whirpool does not change a thing. My Whirpool new fridge worked for 6 moths and now it is part of décor on my kitchen. I do not recommend this brand,

Replaced in kind - cosmetic defect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a 2000 model of basically this same fridge in white and it lasted 19 years. Consumer Reports still ranks them high so we bought this one hoping for similar life. My wife regrets falling for the stainless steel hype - it shows fingerprints like crazy and the old white enamel was easier to keep looking clean. We also think the build quality has slipped since the fridge door handle is 1/4" higher than the freezer door handle - not lined up like the manufacturer pictures show. Doesn't change the function but it's noticable and bugs us. Fridge and freezer temps checked out spot on with the default settings. Can't comment on the thru door water & ice as we don't use those functions - did not even hook up the water supply and the first thing I did was remove the ice maker bin to get more freezer space. I wanted to buy the model without them but it cost more and was not readily available.

Noisy but works well!

Sleek and Clean

When my other refrigerator stopped working I needed something quick but worried about quality. Well, with this Whirlpool I can say I am not at all worried! It's also so sleek and clean and easy to fill and find food. The ice maker is wonderful. I'm so glad I chose this!

white french door fridge

Nice finish, couple clinkers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brushed stainless finish is nice compared to our last refrigerator. However crushed ice likes to fly all over the place so get your cup up close as can be. Also on occasion the ice cubes appear to be too big to go through the shoot so if you don't know that, they melt and drip all day. This model is a little noisier than our last model. But not bad. Well lit.
