Nice refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator and it was delivered last week so far it is good but it is missing the top shelf ??why would you design a refrigerator with 4 shelf mounts and not include the top shelf???!!! Look on your website and there are no shelves to buy. My wife is not happy with that!! Was the shelf not installed at the factory if not then please contact me seems like a mistake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a bigger family of 8 we'd needed an upgraded fridge for a really long time. We'd been holding off trying to find a French door bottom freeze in white but after waiting and waiting for one to come in stock we decided to just "compromise" and go for the side by side and I LOVE it! There is so much storage space in the doors. You can fit a gallon of milk, big orange juice and carton of almond milk all in one shelf. You can fit 4 boxes of butter plus 2 cream cheese packages in the
top door shelf if you turn them right. The shelves are so deep so there is plenty of storage space in the fridge shelves themselves. The only thing I did to organize storage was keep a drawer from my old fridge to keep packages of cheese/meat organized and I have an extra fridge organizer bin to keep lettuces and more delicate vegetables from getting crushed in the door. I love the freezer too! Plenty of space and keeps everything so organized without being all stacked on top of everything like a traditional top/bottom freeze. The ice machine and water dispenser are great too. A cup of water fills up so quickly. With 2 adults, 6 kids in the house, there has been a few times when we've run out of ice however but no biggie. Get this!! The price is great too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned other whirlpool appliances and have had a great experience. This refrigerator, on the other hand, is one of the worst appliances I’ve ever owned.
1. It took 8 days for the ice maker to fill the ice bucket. The compressor is loud and always on.
2. The fridge side door developed a LOUD squeak after day 5.

This is a brand new appliance. It should be quiet and efficient. The opposite is true.
