Poor Temp Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to the single temperature control in the refrigerator side with a 3-position switch for freezer temperature it is difficult to keep refrigerator above 32 degrees even on warmest setting. The freezer on coldest setting is between 10 and 0 degrees with refrigerator on warmest setting. The shelving is not full depth; I have had items fall off the back of the shelves - both sides. The water filter is below the freezer door, making it difficult to change
I would not recommend this machine to someone wanting a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, would work well for a dual temperature freezer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only complaint would be the ice maker is too loud when getting ice from the holder. Fear the ice may break a glass when using.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator portion of this unit runs inconsistently. Not sure why. I wish there was a numerical setting for this unit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new fridge that came with our newly built house. It’s noisy and I am in the process of submitting a warranty claim. Came with one vegetable and one fruit drawer only. Not sure if the cheese/ham drawer was to be included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good appliance. This Wes the appliance given to us when we purchased our new home. The builder chose the model and brand. Able to easily store condiments, milk, juice, soda, etc. My only wish would be a deli drawer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that the glass shelves don't have the border edging. I've had the same size fridge before, but this new one seems so much bigger! Everything seems so much easier to access. I have been satisfied with both the freezer and fridge side holding an even cold temperature. Better lighting too. I love the Bisque color, and the handles are very comfortable, which seems like a small thing, but I notice it every time I open the doors. Speaking of doors, the only complaint I have is that they seem to be off balance when I open them and swing open too fast. I have to hold on to the door so the hinges don't get continually stressed. Also, I did buy additional shelves, and I miss that it does not have a slide out cheese drawer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my highly rated but much despised LG died I was looking for something basic. One reviewer described Whirlpool as stuck in the 90's. I immediately thought, that's for me. It cools, makes and distributes ice with no fuss, keeps both freezer and fridge at appropriate temps and the side by side beats the heck out of Top French doors and bottom freezer for organization. I always have a filter on the icemaker source before the fridge so the worries about filter replacement don't matter. It's compressor does make a bit more noise than any fridge I've ever had. Also no bother to me.
