Disappointed...quality has diminished since 2000.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice bright new clean and well lit but poor quality …..door shelf broke the first day. Can’t adjust some shelves. First cup,of water, not cold….very noisy! thought I would get great new features but prefer my old 2000 side by side which was still running great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not happy with my Whirlpool - 36-inch Wide Side-by-Side Refrigerator - 24 cu. ft. due to cheap materials and poor quality. Samsung refrigerator had an advance technology features and superior quality compared to Whirpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it to replace a standard refrigerator single door and to have water and ice in door. The configuration of the ice and water dispensers make it easy to hit both at same time and ice dispenser will shoot the ice forcefully, sometimes on to the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing a built-in so I had limited space requiring specific dimensions to fit. I've been watching this model (and a few others) for about a year, price, ratings, reviews, and finally I made the purchase during this past Memorial Day sale, which also allowed me to purchase the 3-year extended service agreement. This is a great looking fridge, and so far is performing better than expected. I haven't had it long enough to have to replace a filter yet, and have not experienced any difficulties to date. I'm very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the refrigerator for approximately a month and we are enjoying many of the features. We would have preferred clear glass or clear plastic shelves in the freezer instead of the wire type. When using the ice dispenser mode we sometimes activate the water mode also. The accidental overflow area would work better for us if the area was deeper and/or wider. Or if the controls were positioned differently. The doors need to be opened carefully or they seem to freely swing open too far. The plastic part of the door hinges make we wonder if they will last as long as our previous unit that was metal.Overall we are enjoying it very much.
