[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My freezer went out on my refrigerator and I was unsure how old it was because it came with our home purchased about 10 years ago. It was also a whirlpool and was reliable so that is why I purchased a new Whirlpool refrigerator. So far, it is great.

Great Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this fridge because my Kenmore similar model 4yrs old stopped working. I always had trouble with the ice maker even when it was new. This fridge matches my new Whirlpool electric range and has been working great 2hrs after plugging it in, even the ice maker when the freezer got down to temperature. Very satisfied with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have now had this refrigerator working for 1 week. It is okay, nothing special. It takes a long time for ice to fill up. Don't like not having a small drawer for my cheese like my old Frigidare had. Also don't like that there is no tray to catch water or ice that drops. My frigidare also had separate controls showing temps for frig and freezer. This is definitely a "basic" model, nothing more. Now I wish I had spent the money to fix my old frig instead of buying this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
