Ice maker isn’t good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like most things. However, the ice maker is the pits! It makes about 9 cubes every couple hours. It’s not even enough to fill my glass 1/2 way. When the ice dumps it is so loud. It sounds like someone is shooting a gun off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of weeks ago. It takes a few days to achieve the final temperature. Had to set it on "max" cool to properly chill the refrigerator. Not so with the freezer side. It reached -1 within a day or so. As some have said, it is slightly noisy. Not the ice maker, but the compressor. Over all, we are very happy with this refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great fridge; cannot remove ice bin.

We have to get used to the smaller ice cubes as our other refrigerator made bigger ones.
I tried to see if I could remove the ice bin so I can see the on and off switch and the arm. I cannot remove the ice bin. The illustration in the instruction book looks different than what we have.

Good for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the money a good product. For a side by side, decent space in fridge and freezer. A couple of features that could improve this model: redesign the water dispenser-too close to outer edge which can lead to water dripping down front of door; better lighting in the outside dispenser-it is towards the back which doesn’t help much since ice & water dispensed more to the front. And purely an aesthetic issue: at the front legs of the unit, put a better coverage plate to cover exposed mechanics. We have had the unit operational for less than a week, so time will tell if we made the right choice.

Excellent Refrigerator
