[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator came with my new home from D.R. Horton. I have had nothing but issues with it. The ice maker is leaving shards of plastic in the glass when melted. The water/ice dispenser is so poorly designed that only the smallest glass (much less an 8 oz. glass) will go under the dispenser comfortably. When the water dispenser stops, there is no way to pull the glass out without leaving a trail of water dribbling down the front of the door and onto the floor. Ordered the recommended filters to stop the bad taste of the water and it only got worse. I have ordered a new refrigerator - different brand - and don't even feel comfortable giving this away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wheels fell off

Talked with store. Unable to repair, we took discount on product. Didn't want to go through trouble to change out.

Loud Compressor In Exchange For HE

I understand the need for high efficiency, but, for this brand new unit with no previous owner to rin 80% to 90% of yhe time with such a loud compressor is not a good trade off. It runs when we are awake, it runs when we are trying to sleep and loudly. The clicking noises it makes to cool different components is loud and noisy too. Ownership started off with manufacturer defect of the ice maker leaking all over and days and days to get a technician out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
