Ice maker is weak

LOUDEST Fridge ever!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loudest fridges ever heard!!!!!!!! Don’t get this. I returned it thank God within the 48 hour window or I would have been stuck with it. The water dispenser is very stupidly placed. Not much space in fridge. Cheap flimsy shelves. We could hear that thing running (compressor) from anywhere in the house. It runs 75% of the time because it is a new low energy type of unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge in Oct and have had problems since we got it. First whirlpool appliance i have owned and been disappointed with. The fridge freezes everything even when you have on ideal setting and if you turn it down nothing stays cold. The ice maker sticks. I have had it fixed since we bought it and the best part was the repair man. He was wonderful, polite professional, quick and explained what he did. I am sorry to complain, we budget like everyone and didn’t expect problems this soon especially with just 2 adults in the home that usually work more than anything. Thank you to your call center they were also wonderful and got it taken care of in record time. Great customer service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Research before you buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make sure you have a list of questions to ask before purchasing.I have had my new fridge 5 weeks and the ice maker has already been replaced! The unit is on wheels, can’t be locked into place and rolls toward you each time you open the door. The ice maker is lower capacity than my previous fridge…..not happy about that shortcoming. It has one meat drawer snd one veggie drawer…..I am accustomed to two veggie drawers. Didn’t think it would make such a big difference but it does.

Almost Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was included in the purchase of our home. It has been working well for the most part. It started making a loud noise for a few days one weekend and we can only put in a warranty request Monday thru Friday. By the time Monday came around, the noise was gone. The freezer did have a leak somewhere but it appears to have stopped.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good size. Annoying ice/water dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the fridge seems pretty good. Pros: it is pretty spacious in both the freezer and fridge sides. Cons: the icemaker is undersized. It makes about 6-8 small cubes every couple hours. The light on the water tap is manual and doesn’t illuminate the cup at all when getting water. So getting water at night is a guessing game. And periodically when getting ice you get wet you get wet feet by accidentally activating the water.
