IT WAS GREAT UNTIL IT WAS NOT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the new refrigerator to replace one a Kenmore that lasted 17 years with no issues. Was very pleased with out new whirlpool until it broke in the night. We had only had the whirlpool fridge for about 90 days!! The compressor went out. This was extremely disappointing to say the least. We work up to water in the floor and quickly realized the ice was melting and running down the ice dispenser into our floor. All the food I the freezer was completely thawed and had to be thrown away. Along with the expense of the new purchase, food spoilage and purchasing replacement food it was a very expensive experience. We were without a fridge or freezer for about 8 days until the new compressor came in and was installed. It is running again and keeping fingers crossed, but do not have a good feeling with such a large malfunction this early in the game. Wish there was a way to be compensated for food spoilage under these circumstances with it being such a new purchase. We had such high expectations and felt comfortable or hopeful with the whirlpool brand,, not sure anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like this refrigerator very well except it came with no way to keep it from rolling from front to back. The rollers can be used to level it, but went opening the doors it rolls forward and closing it rolls backward. Poor design. I had to jury rig a method to block the rollers.
