Not my favorite for sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awkward and seems like less space than our previous refrigerators. Drawers drag and do not open smoothly and the bottom drawer is small and awkwardly shaped. Ice maker makes a mess even with cubed ice. It goes everywhere even if you hold the cup/glass as far up as you can without hitting the water dispenser. Ohhh don’t like it, just stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but some quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this appliance. There are a few minor issues that bother me, but overall I would buy it again: the door handles don't line up perfectly (the fridge door handle is about half an inch higher than the freezer; since they are side by side it is noticeable); the fridge door doesn't stay open on it's own -- instead it swings almost violently open because of the weight of stuff in the door and hits the counter (this happens every time unless I hold it open -- my other side by side never did this); the bottom doesn't have a "front" piece to hide the "inner workings" -- it looks like there is something missing (again, a small thing but my other side by side fridge had it so it looked more complete).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Frig

Perfect for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to wait a bit before adding my review. We had our new frig about two weeks now, and we love it. Our 7-year old frig (not a Whirlpool) was having major problems, so we had to replace it. We found this Whirlpool side by side, on sale, nice size and priced right. It's not as large or fancy as our old frig but after having it for a while, we are very pleased with our choice. I would recommend this unit to anyone.
