Better than the older version!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the older version of this or at least a very similar version that looked a lot like this and had to replace it because there were several problems with the ice maker and the warranty ran out on it. There were things on the older model that annoyed me, with this model a lot of those things are definitely better thought out and improved. one example is the water and ice dispenser with the removable drain cover that is no longer an issue it's all one piece and they easily wipes clean, another thing that I absolutely love being a mother of two young children is the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. the only thing that I would improve moving forward is the sensitivity of the water dispenser when you go to get ice, it's very sensitive and water sometimes gets dispensed. It's not too noisy but there is a definite noise that you hear when the compressor kicks on, overall definitely worth the money and this time I opted for the extended warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

More money, less space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy a refrigerator on a budget quickly. This was more than we wanted to spend, but it had the features and what we thought was the space we needed. The freezer is really small. There is not enough room. Even on a cooler setting, it keeps things over frozen. The ideal temp setting on the refrigerator side keeps things icy. The ice dispenser is not big enough for water bottles and even with a small, wide mouth cup/glass, it splatters ice chips everywhere even on the cubed setting. The water coming out of the dispenser is luke warm at best. We haven't even had this for 1 month yet and I wanted to have more time to get used to it before I wrote a review, but I feel I am forced to write one immediately. While there is plenty of refrigerator space between the door and the inside, the vegetable crisper and meat drawers are ridiculously small. I will never be able to fit my Thanksgiving turkey in there. So, I will end up having to put it on one of the shelves and risk turkey juices dripping. The "smudge proof" outside does not seem to really be smudge proof. I see my kids' fingerprints on the front already. I wish I liked this more than I did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had it one week but it has been exceptional. Very quiet, came up to temp very quickly and beautiful appearance. Our last refrigerator dispensed ice horribly (not a Whirlpool). It flung ice everywhere, everytime. This unit is very controlled with the ice and water. So far, I love it!

Ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago refrigerator is great but ice maker makes such small ice cubes it is disappointing and while trying to get ice you bump the water thing and it is not tall enough for a insulated cup.
