Surprise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator with urgency as my previous refrigerator literally died. I don't know if I would have picked this fridge if I had other options, but i am very happy that I ended up with it. Recently we lost power in my town for 39 hours and my milk didn't sour, my food in the freezer didn't spoil. The ice cubes and the ice cream weren't as lucky, but overall, the fridge was Awesome.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many years ago we purchased an Amana side by side refrigerator. When too many problems began to surface we looked at many brands. Whirlpool has always been at the top of our list but we wanted to search and compare. After numerous weeks of comparison we decided Whirlpool was the one and we certainly did make the right choice. Chances are we WON'T need to look around again!

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I realize that the older I get the worse products are made. I have never heard of having a water dispense means you would get tap water. Guess this makes me stupid to think you would get cold water out of a fridge. The shelves cannot be moved like my old one (GE). The only reason I bought this fridge is it is only one I could find that would fit between existing cabinets. The drawers are not sturdy at all. I should have probably just had my old one repaired - too late now. I also do not like that I paid for the extended 5 yr. warranty and starts the day I paid for it not the date the fridge was delivered - 3 mos. later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited almost six weeks for this refrigerator because of the color, but glad I waited. Not as noisy as some of the other reviews have stated, and the bisque actually matches my other appliances. The only negative so far is, the door handles are too close together. You can't open the freezer with your right hand, and can't open the fridge side with your left hand. Also, the ice maker makes cubes small enough to fit in small necked water bottles.

Nice Lookin' Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whirlpool is the ONLY one that makes a side by side refrigerator (with water/ice in the door) in this smaller size AND in the "Bisque" color! MY HOPE is that they continue! I'm in a small condo and I cannot fit anything bigger than the 33-inch across and the approx. 66-inch in height! The LED lighting is THE BEST! I immediately can see what I'm looking for right away and I also love the clear shelves in the refrigerator AND on the door. It's very spacious in the refrigerator and actually I would have given up a couples inches in width to have a little bit wider on the freezer side. The way the water and ice release is set up is a little awkward. I was use to my old refrigerator where you just hit the button to switch from water to ice and it all came from the exact same opening. I have accidentally hit the water a couple times with this different set-up and made a mess but all in all I'm very pleased with my new refrigerator. Also, I'd rather have a "numbered" dial for how cold to set the refrigerator. The "Ideal" (manufacturer) setting did NOT work for me. Matter a fact, the use of the description "Ideal" really threw me off because it froze everything on the top shelf and in the manual it did NOT give a solution to this problem. I was afraid to change it, but I had to! Not using the top shelf was NOT an option for me. I need the use of all my shelves, so I had to go to the next level, going warmer. Everything seems cold enough. Maybe, re-think this particular option/design on the refrigerator.

Rocky Start - good now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First unit delivered did not cool at all. Second unit has been reliable and we like it. It makes a lot of noise but we discovered that some bubble wrap between the right side and the wall next too it makes the noise level acceptable. Apparently the sheet metal on the right side rattles.
