High Performing Whirlpool Side by Side Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this new Whirlpool refrigerator and very pleased with its performance and its streamlined appearance. Easy to use the automatic icemaker and filtered water. Very roomy fridge section and freezer area. Pretty quiet also.

Icemaker never worked

Took almost a month to finally get delivered. Installed this week and the icemaker will not drop the ice. Had to use google to find out that there is a reset button. Reset it and it still will not dump the ice from the tray. Not. Happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is either too cold (30 degrees) on two snowflakes or too warm(40 degrees) on one snowflake. I’ve had this for almost two months and it just doesn’t control.

Not a good refrigerator!!!

Ok but Somewhat disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very noisy refrigerator, much louder than any I've ever owned. The water dispenser will go days without working and then start working again and then stop again. This is after one week of use. The Repair people can't find anything wrong with it. The bottom where the doors connect to the base are white plastic that stands out like a sore thumb on the black refrigerator. Why couldn't they have used black plastic to match the refrigerator? I bought Whirlpool because a refrigerator repair person told me they are one of the more reliable brands and my Kenmore washer made by Whirlpool is still washing clothes after 20 years. The ice maker does work much better than the LG I replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Inefficient water/ice descending design

We bought this for Christmas. I’m torn. I love it, it works well, and has a water and ice dispenser, which is why we got it. But the problem is in the design of the water and ice dispenser. Others have shared pictures of the water dripping down the door. You have to tip your drinkware and push with the edge of it to get ice, because the space isn’t tall enough and the water dispenser is in front of the ice. Then when you get water, your cup can’t fit in the space, and the water nozzle is right above the door, so it drips down, causing a water mark/stain. It’s just a really inefficient design.
