Good features and delivery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice refrigerator working well. Only question is on the ice maker, there is no shutoff metal bar. Cant find any info anywhere how this works. It does shut off ice maker and restarts after ice used. Otherwise everything is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it so easy to clean, to see what we have and looks nice too! only downside is the water /ice dispenser did not come with a drip tray. unfortunately, we have hard water and when we take the glass out, it drips on the front if the freezer and leaves hard water stains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Massive credit to Whirlpool employees for decades making a quality product. Our previous refrigerator was an earlier version of this model. It lasted 36 years! (I have the receipt -see photo) It still worked just fine, but some interior plastic parts were getting brittle.
I wanted to replace it with a bottom freezer model, but quickly learned that due to our built-ins, that was not an option. Unless I wanted to tear out cabinetry, the only refrigerator that fit - from any brand - was an updated version of what I had.
I'm impressed that after 36 years, the new refrigerator cost only $350 more than the original from 1986. Thank you for still making it; otherwise this would have been a costly upgrade.
My only critique is that I wish trends were different. Stainless steel is the only option. If it was offered in an update of the old cladding (enameled paint) I'd have gotten that instead, but I know this is not on trend. Stainless steel appliances rule the industry, but I find them much harder to keep spotless.

Nice refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like it except the ice/ water dispenser is somewhat awkward. You can't see the water spigot with the light the way it is all stacked. The shelves and drawers are roomy. The drawers stick a little but I think that just newness.

Diminished Internal Capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This side-by-side is a better layout for how I cook for my family of 5. The freezer has a great layout for batch cooking freezer meals. Having water and ice in the door is a great feature, but we do lose quite a bit of freezer space because of it. One complaint about this side-by-side is that many shelves and drawers toward the bottom are not full depth. Having an already small refrigerator lose so much functional space inside is a big drawback.
