Buzzing is Irritating

We have tried many different ferrous metal pots and pans, and the buzzing when a burner is in use is very irritating.

Precision cooking!

Love my new range with induction cooktop. Involved a bit.of a learning curve coming from 40 years of cooking on electric and without a convection oven option- but would not go back. This is precision cooking! Baked goods are perfect. Even eggs fry up better due to the responsiveness of the burners. It is functional and beautiful. My first item in the oven was a batch of German springerele cookies which require a low and consistent temperature. They came out perfect.

One use and oven dead

Style over substance. I used my range one time before the oven stopped working. It starts heating then after a couple of seconds the controls flicker and it powers off, and the clock has to be reset. I did all the troubleshooting. Based on other recent reviews, GE is selling a product it knows is defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The range is great. I had read comments online that it was noisy but have not found that to be the case. Boils water very quickly. Immediate response to dial adjustment.

This range is a work of art, loaded with features, design is spot on, controls are easy to use, and works flawlessly. Induction cooking is the way to go, we have really enjoyed using it so far. Would purchase it again without question.

Great Features and Function!

I like that the Range has four induction cooking burners - 1 large, 2 medium and 1 small as well as a small radiant keeps warm burner. I like the function of the front controls. They light up when in use and there are control locks that prevent the burners from going on in the event that you have an induction pan on the burner. I like that the oven has three racks, one of which is a rolling rack. It has a slightly smaller overall area than some others I looked at, but still works well. I like the Cafe Stainless with the Minimal Copper Band on the handles to give it character. After a slight learning curve of how to adjust to induction cooking, both my husband and I love the function of the induction burners. I like that the oven and burners have the WIFI capabilities, which I have not done yet - needed to register the appliances first. The Capacity is good. I am happy with the performance of the burners and the oven.

30” Cafe Range

I am still “making friends” with the induction cooktop but so far I’m very pleased with my choice. It does cook fast and it does not heat up the kitchen like the old electric range did. This will great for cooking in the summer ! The oven is great and the overall appearance of the unit is beautiful.

Was not a fan of cooking on an electric stove until we got this one. I didn’t think it was possible, but the induction cooktop cooks faster than gas! It’s amazing!
