Great Stove

Although we’ve only had this range one month now we sure love it. The Induction burners are so responsive and quick. Slow simmer to hard boil and anything in between you can hold at that desired temp.no problem. And love convection oven roasted veggies with just a slight char. WiFi connectivity is a cool feature too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So responsive!

We did considerable research and landed upon purchasing a GE Cafe induction range. Couldn’t be happier. It’s as responsive, if not more, than Dacor gas range we’ve owned. Absolutely no comparison to radiant top ranges. It’s very easy to keep the cooking surface clean. A wipe, and you’re done. Still getting used to oven temperatures. Seems to roast a little slower than what I’m used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello- Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are so happy to hear you are loving it. Induction cooktops will heat faster than gas or radiant cooktops. They really take your cooking abilities to new levels.

The Convection Roast mode is intended for roasting whole cuts of meat on a single rack. This mode uses air movement from the convection fan to improve browning and reduce cooking time. Check food earlier than the recipe suggested time when using this mode, or use the probe. It is
not necessary to preheat when using this mode. To use this mode press the Conv Roast pad, enter a temperature with the number pads, and then press Start/Enter.

Responsive cooktop

I love how responsive the induction cooktop is after using an electric cooktop for years. The oven is overall very good as well, but the broiler function switches on and off—I’m assuming to avoid overheating—which can ruin your dish if you are only supposed to broil for a minute or two and the broiler is not on.

Only 2 weeks old & I’m so impressed! Induction is so fast. This range is easy to clean, wonderful smart features, evenly distributed heat in oven & on smooth top. Thought I was still going to miss having gas but nope! Also bought a trim kit to fill gap between range & counter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful Range

I have never had a nice range, new yes, but not high end. This range is wonderful. It has all of the features I wanted in my "dream" range. I have only had it for 4 days, but in that time I have put it to the test. 500 degree convection bake for pizza (spectacular), Baked bread on regular bake, no hot spots! and now I am roasting 2 sheet pans full of sliced tomatoes on Convection Roast. So far it is spectacular. The induction cook top is fabulous! Be sure to get your ferrous pans ready. I cook primarily with cast iron. Make sure the pans are flat and don't rock. Just excellent cooking and sooooo fast to heat the pans. not even comparable to my former coil burners. I would say these are far superior to the gas burners i have used in the past as well. Burners are exceptionally heat sensitive so the low is really truly low and the high is very high. The only thing I don't like is that it does not come with a manual! You would think for the price they would include a manual on how to use it.

First time with induction

So happy I decided on Induction. I'm getting older, and I felt that it would be an added layer of safety in that the actual element is not heated, and only if there is a heavy enough pan on the element does the pan get hot. If I put any of my stainless pots/pans on the range without food in them, chances are the control knobs will start to flash, letting me know there's not enough weight on the element to turn the magnets on. The range top will eventually get hot, because of the pan transferring the heat to the food, but will cool down faster when the pot is removed. Bought two 8" cast iron fry pans and a cast iron dutch oven and all is well.
The conventional/convection oven is not a new concept for me. I have always enjoyed great results when doing my baking in a convection oven. Haven't used the steam cleaning function yet, as I have only used it for about 6 months. Delivery went a little sideways because of the manufacturing delays due to the pandemic. It's not a complaint, just an observation as to why I haven't cleaned my oven yet!!
