Induction stopped working after a week

I bought this stove and started using it right away as I like to cook a lot. I purchased induction pans and the stove top stopped working after week and a half. I had the company I purchased it from bring me a brand new stove because a GE repair man said the electrical panel had to be replaced. I received a new stove and after a week and a half the induction stopped working again. The exact details of what happened twice:
I would place my induction pan on the correct size burner and the magnetic sound would start and then just stop after a few seconds and the light from the burner knob would go out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible

Not hooked up a couple days stove top quit working but given works, repair not coming for 2 weeks. Troubleshooting guide us basically only for oven. Terrible service after all this money

Oven broke after first use ! Had to get the cooling fan replaced

We love the looks of the range but so far there are several items we don’t like.
1. Broil mode seems to be weak compared to our range that was from the 90’s even when it’s on high.
2. The induction burners don’t turn on unless you have a pan that fits the burner. If it is slightly smaller than the burner it doesn’t let the burner turn on. I have used other induction ranges that were not so sensitive and offered more flexibility to pan size.
3. The door shuts crooked.
4. The stainless on top of the range between the glass and the switches scratches very easily and stains easily from oils. The glass needs to extended to the front edge of the range in my opinion.
5. Everything seems to take longer to bake than recipes say. Even when using convection. If it says 15 minutes plan for 17-18 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. If your new range or wall oven doesn't cook like your old one, this can be normal. Your new oven has a different cooking system from your old and therefore may cook differently than your old oven. Got a lemon

We have a technician coming out to get check the range again.
The bottom of the oven is 150 or more degrees cooler than the top.
Makes me wonder if they test these things?

Cheap materials, stopped working in less than 1yr

Cheap materials. It is supposed to be stainless steal but in less that A YEAR, the whole appliance has stains and rust spots all over the front and handles. Also the induction range completely stopped working even with multiple induction-ready kitchenware. We have a maintenance scheduled soon to check it out; hopefully they decide to replace the whole appliance with a new one.

After less than 24h stove was delivered and installed- 8" burner stop working. This is our first GE appliance and bad experience. Now we have a headache when tech will come and not fully working NEW STOVE!!! We probably will return it back and will buy another brand.

A dream cooking machine!

I researched induction for 2 years before I made my choice. Bought it sight unseen because most stores don't have induction displays. It arrived in August 2019 and I cooked through the holidays. I "wowed" all my guests. My 15 year old nephew was so impressed by induction that his parents gifted him an induction hot plate/3 pot set for xmas. The responsiveness and temperature control is wonderful. Clean ups are a breeze. I cook with a dish towel or paper towel under the cook wear. The oven features are great. I love the variety of oven cleaning settings. A word of advice, don't cheap-out on the cook wear. I bought a set of Al-Clad and also use Lodge cast iron. My only frustration is the user guide. For the price, the full user guide should be included with the stove. using the internet to learn the product function while cooking is very inconvenient. My next quest is to set-up the blue-tooth feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!
