We got a lemon :(

It's a beautiful looking appliance but we used it twice and now it isn't working. They discovered after fixing one part that another part isn't working. I was ok with having to get One part fix and was still looking forward to using it. But now that there are two parts not working I am very disheartened and not loving my stove at all. At this point I believe it is a lemon and it wasn't cheap! My hope is that they just replace the whole oven because - i don't trust this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Reliable.

We bought this oven last February and were extremely excited about it. We even purchased new pots/pans to work with the induction and couldn't wait for it to be installed as we cook often. It was amazing until it turned one year. Since then, it has been nothing but trouble. The oven constantly thinks the probe is connected and disables the Broil option. After using the oven for any extended amount of time, the probe alert beeps uncontrollably switching between connected/disconnected. There have even been multiple instances where the oven will just shut off midway through cooking a meal. Sometimes the touchscreen buttons just don't work. We even had the entire control board replaced. It worked for a month, then the issues started again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wish there was customer service to go with the $8300 dollars I spent on appliances. It is aome of the worst I have ever dealt with. Beautiful appliances but it doesn't do any good if there is no one to work with if something goes wrong

Ridiculously fragile

The induction stovetop is ridiculously fragile. We are unpacking in our newly renovated kitchen and accidentally knocked over a skinny bottle of olive oil next to the stovetop. We were then horrified and stunned to realize that our stovetop is now cracked. It's outrageous that a kitchen appliance would be this fragile, given the normal amount of banging about that takes place in a kitchen. This strikes me as a serious flaw in the design and durability of this product. Our stove is brand new. Now I have to figure out whether I can use it and what to do about it. Make your products durable enough to withstand the normal wear and tear of a kitchen! This is so upsetting.

Cafe induction range malfunction

Our 4 year old range burst into flames. GE refues ti adequately compensate. 1/4 of replacement cost offered

We love the looks of the range but so far there are several items we don’t like.
1. Broil mode seems to be weak compared to our range that was from the 90’s even when it’s on high.
2. The induction burners don’t turn on unless you have a pan that fits the burner. If it is slightly smaller than the burner it doesn’t let the burner turn on. I have used other induction ranges that were not so sensitive and offered more flexibility to pan size.
3. The door shuts crooked.
4. The stainless on top of the range between the glass and the switches scratches very easily and stains easily from oils. The glass needs to extended to the front edge of the range in my opinion.
5. Everything seems to take longer to bake than recipes say. Even when using convection. If it says 15 minutes plan for 17-18 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One month old and already broken

My new range was installed last month and it is already not working. The knob for the dual burners spins but does not turn on the burners.
I am extremely disappointed that I already have to call for a repair.
