BAD interior/exterior design features

Hope mechanically it lasts, because its functionality and BAD color concept if horrible. (1) Interior, there are not enough supports so can't arrange side draws too well. On Rt door there's a tinly mostly hidden shelf not too usable if one wants to store wine, milk bottles in shelf above. I place painters tape on necks of the short bottles/jars of items in that shelf to remind me items are there. Bottle w/ longish neck there prevent door from closing. Basically this is the same interior design, layout as what I had in my last 6 yr old GE profile. (2) I have a white Euro-look kitchen, mostly white. The sides and rubber door seal on this are all BLACK and stand out. I suppose since most of GE's items recently are stainless or black, and for the few all white appliance ordered, GE's saving a few thousand dollars in manufacturing. Apparently IT's profits are more important than customers' wants. IF I'd could have paid more to get all white rubber sealers, and sides painted white, I would have. (3) I'll now seek a quality painter to see if can rough up therse areas and paint white.... (4) handles are an awful copper-ish color with a gaudy copper ring so they could imprint 'CAFE' on it. Hardly a look of a high-end appliance in my opinion.

Awful under-appliance lighting

AWFUL LIGHTING on a beautiful appliance. I recently bought a suite of Café appliances, including this microwave/hood combo. Seems like a fine appliance EXCEPT for the under-appliance lighting. A single halogen bulb is included, which provides limited light and extreme heat. This is GE’s Cadillac brand and they didn’t include LED lighting? The lighting is worse than the 20-year old model I’m replacing. Halogen…really??? So extremely disappointed in GE engineering…a huge “miss” on this one…and something I’ll be living with for many years.

The water dispenser inside

We love our new refrigerator. Our old ge was 25 years old so we were proactive in buying new one. It has so much more room and we love all the features.

Impressive

Beautiful fridge. My first French door appliance. I am impressed with the amount of space available. The unit is smaller than my previous model. Freezer space is tight but not too much of an issue as there are only 2 of us. Quick to cool and so far functioning well. I appreciate that the front is magnetized!

Wow! This fridge is beautiful! It fits so perfectly in the small space I have in my kitchen! The lighting inside makes everything SO easy to see and find! The freezer is a tad small, but works great and I love the divider in the bottom drawer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beware of damaging refrigerator doors!

Large refrigerator, tiny freezer. Great care must be taken NOT to install the refrigerator all the way to the back wall. If you do so, the refrigerator doors may hit the adjacent countertop or cabinet handles when fully open and damage the front of the doors. The refrigerator door hinges do not have optional partial-stop mechanisms. There is no mention of this in the installation instructions.
