So-so Refrigerator

We bought this as we wanted a bottom freezer refrigerator but were limited to size. I feel that even though it is the same size as the refrigerator it replaced the shelves are not deep enough and with the snack drawer along the bottom it has not allowed the shelves to be set for tall items. The bottom snack drawer cuts down on the height that the shelves can be. I presume that with the deep shelves on the doors that has caused the shelves to not be able to be as deep. Also, with high humidity in our area the inside gaskets are moist. Our old refrigerator kept the gaskets warm to prevent moisture build up. The very bottom holders on the doors is not very useful as they aren't very visible and due to their small size cannot hold much. Therefore, I am not as satisfied with this refrigerator that I could be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I love the look of my café refrigerator but the freezer is extremely small. I can barely fit half of what I used to be able to fit in my KitchenAid refrigerator. You also are unable to pull the top drawer out very far so it is very hard to access items underneath.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken when new

Ice maker has been broken since day 1. Waiting for replacement parts..who knows how long that will take. Expected more for what I paid. Very disappointed. Had to shut ice maker off until repair and now entire freezer is frosting up and will need to be defrosted.

Non reparable— one month old

Trouble with unit right from the beginning. Freezer door not sealing against cabinet resulting in frost buildup in freezer.
Doors also wouldn’t align properly. Two service calls and unit deemed not repairable. Replaced with new unit.

I didn’t know about a counter depth refrigerator but it’s perfect. The matte white finish is attractive. Love the cylinder handles. It’s perfect.

More room than the old 22 Cu Ft

I traded a larger refrigerator for this one. Things were always lost in the back of the old one. The old bottom freezer was hard to access.
The Cafe' actually has more room as the doors have deep door shelves making everything visible and accessible. Everything in the refrigerator portion is well lit and visible. The freezer door is a dream. I don't dread bending down like I did with the old one. I can stand, pull the drawer out and instantly see and retrieve what I need. This was the best decision I made for a refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezer gets icy

The freezer is covered in ice regardless of any trouble shooting I have tried.

Mediocrity Pretending to be Upscale

(1) Poor factory delivery; GE predicted 3 months for what took 7 months (2) Poor quality at factory- freezer seals did not seal tightly and ice maker shipped inoperative (3) Poor design, e.g. inside water glass filler is difficult to access so we still use 'frig #2, an old Whirlpool product
