Love this Fridge!

I should preface this by saying that this refrigerator replace a pretty basic 3-year-old unit so anything modern would be impressive.
That said, we've had this fridge for a month and just love it! It fits perfectly in our existing (and smaller than average) space and looks like it's always been there. The black stainless steel finish is elegant. We love that the main refrigerator section is up high making it so much easier to find things, especially if you have ADHD like me!
We wish there was a bit more space in the freezer, but again, the allocation of space to fit in our kitchen makes it more than acceptable.
The lighting is fantastic, nice and bright but easy on the eyes. The modern temperature controls water filter monitor make it so much easier to care for the unit properly as well.
We are very happy with this purchase!!

Beautiful and streamlined

We love this new refrigerator. We’ve had it now for about two months. It’s really attractive, keeps things very cold and fresh, veggies and leafy greens crisp in the drawers. It’s perfect for our needs and our kitchen.

I have loved Cafe matte white with bronze handles for 5 years. Finally bought it and now the dishwasher. I still need the wall microwave/oven which are separate pieces which will go in one big space. Any handy carpenter needed in Bergen County, NJ, please apply. Can't show dishwasher in space since it is still crated waiting for plumbing.

FREEZER IS SMALL VERY SMALL AND SEEMS INEFFICIENT TO HAVE WATER N DOOR, LOVE THE LOOK BUT WISH THEY MADE THE 33" IN REGULATION DEPTH AS WELL, WOULD HAVE OPTED FOR THAT BUT NEEDED TO HAVE FRIG MATCH

Tiny freezer compartment; Very noisy

The layout of this refrigerator makes it seem smaller inside than the published volume. Roughly half of the interior is taken up by the shelves on the door, so it turns out that the fridge shelves themselves are actually very shallow. The freezer compartment is tiny. The top freezer drawer is designed to slide over the bottom drawer, but it always falls off the track and both drawers feel flimsy.
When it was first installed, our fridge made horrible moaning noises. The GE repair tech replaced the fan assembly (for free, under warrantee, thank you GE). It moans less, but still grumbles and whines a lot.
This is an expensive refrigerator. I expected much better quality, and I am disappointed.
