Seems Worth the Wait

Delivered one year to the day that I bought it...yay. It was delivered without a scratch or dent by skilled delivery men. It fit my space perfectly, so I measured well. It is very quiet, makes ice rapidly, but I am still trying to reorganize myself to fit my needs after 20 years of using a totally different design of refrigerator! It is now two weeks, but that is coming along pretty well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful refrigerator. I love having the water filter hidden inside the fridge to maintain a nice sleek look on the exterior. My only minor complaint is that the upper tray in the freezer section hangs up occasionally when opening the freezer and has to be individually pushed back in before closing the freezer. The freezer capacity is also a bit small, but this is a small, counter-depth refrigerator with a built in icemaker, so that is to be expected. Overall, I think the product is worth the money for how visually striking it is. It has really elevated our kitchen.

Perfect for small kitchen

Cafe refrigerator

Noisier than expected. No butter storage area. tough to store raw meats. was told the stainless was finger print resitant and it is not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator for my small kitchen

Refrigerator fits well in a small kitchen. The refrigerator is well lit and has amble space with many different storage options. Hold temp well, water dispenser keeps water cold. I have no issues with noise or fingerprint. I use lint free cloths, for stainless steel, and it looks great.
The freezer is small. It is smaller than my old top freezer/ refrigerator of the same cubic space. I did have to throw away mystery meat when I transferred food over. If you of the type of person who freezes veggies and fruit from your garden, you may want take a look at the space first.
GE engineers…can you come out with a smaller ice storage bin. The larger one is nice for a party, but for everyday use the bin is too big. I am storing the cubes in a small plastic bin and keeping the maker off.
Two..is there a way to make the lower freezer drawer deeper front to back. It looks like there is empty space that can by utilized. A deeper lower freezer drawer would help.

Ice problems

The ice tray over fills and then drops cubes underneath the drawer when you open it. I actually don't think it ever quits making ice. We had a bad problem with the ice maker on our kitchen aid refrigerator and GE hasn't solved the problem . I really would like my money back, but then we would be without a refrigerator for 6 months while we wait for a different one and then we would not be assured of a good ice making system. This problem must be universal with appliance engineers. The rest of the design is fine.
