Beautiful but lacking in quality

The look is modern and beautiful! I love the bronze handles. And the surface is very easy to wipe clean and does not show fingerprints. But the inside does not match the quality of the outside. All of the shelves and drawers are cheap plastic and nothing glides smoothly. The freezer constantly has frost in it (I have a factory repair scheduled but I don't know what is wrong with it yet.) The freezer is so small that you can barely get a hand in the back to retrieve an item. The ice maker and water dispenser work ok. There is no place on the shelves that will hold a 1/2 gallon carton of milk. (I always store milk in the back of the refrigerator.) If you adjust a shelf to hold a milk carton then you have another shelf that is only about 2 inches tall which holds basically nothing. So a large part of the inside is wasted. Milk will fit in the door but when you have to open the door multiple times a day for the water dispenser, that is not good for the milk. After using GE appliances for 30 years and enjoying the Profile line; I was excited to see the new Cafe line. But it only seems to have good looks, not good quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the look!

This had to fit in a tight spot. It is smaller than my last refrigerator but I love the elegant look and that I could choose the finish on the handles. Wish I needed a matching stove!

Stylish fridge

The fridge looks amazing and is a perfect fit for our kitchen. I was worried about the storage, but it is only my wife and I and it holds everything we need. Love the water dispenser inside the fridge instead of taking up space in the door.
If I had to have a complaint, it would be that it's a little noisier than our last fridge. But since the last fridge was very quiet and that was supposedly a feature of their compressor that died after only 3 years, I'll take a more reliable manufacturer if the compressor is a little louder. Also, it is much more expensive than our previous fridge, but I hope the quality of it will make that worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed

I love the look of my café refrigerator but the freezer is extremely small. I can barely fit half of what I used to be able to fit in my KitchenAid refrigerator. You also are unable to pull the top drawer out very far so it is very hard to access items underneath.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 3 weeks

Ordered over a year ago, finally installed three weeks ago. Worked perfectly for first three weeks and now stopped working. First the freezer defrosted and then fridge stopped working. Waiting on "repair".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
