Bright and beautiful!

Wow! This fridge is beautiful! It fits so perfectly in the small space I have in my kitchen! The lighting inside makes everything SO easy to see and find! The freezer is a tad small, but works great and I love the divider in the bottom drawer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality and performance

Freezer frost from day one; small dent in the front door and inside lining. Repair tech heated up the freezer gasket and the freezer frost is partially resolved. He also ordered a new front door. However, the refrigerator is now very cold and all food on the upper shelves froze. We adjusted the refrigerator temperature down, but the issue is not

Pray you get a working one

We received our first GE Cafe December of 2021 after a 10 month wait. By July the ice maker wasn’t working and while having that fixed the tech noticed our freezer was bowed and the seal wasn’t closing all the way. Finally, 6 months later we are on our second GE Cafe. So far so good, we’ll see if it last longer than six months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE DESIGN but too loud and temperature issue

I love the design and it was perfectly matching with my kitchen. So many compliments from anyone visit my house, literally everyone. Very slick/charming looking and simple clean design and very elegant design with affordable price. HOWEVER, it's such a pain with the noise starting every other hours, I am not sure if it's normal, but I never heard this loud noise from any other refrigerators I ever had or experienced. It sounds like the condenser/compressor or whatever part will break down anytime soon, very scary. Definitely disappointing for the premium product and another bigger issue is fresh products in fridge get froze all the time and have to trough away groceries so often, and hate to waist money with this issue. Even I set my fridge at 40 degree(pretty high temp), it still does it and it gets worse after those bad noises. I always have to wrap my vegetables with extra layers of paper and vinyl wraps and put near the door to keep from freezing. This is very sad.
I still love the design and wants to keep this forever, because I am all about the design kind of person. But I have to fight with my husband who is very practical person, and obviously he hate this product and want to return it if that is still the option. I am not sure if café has any solution for my lovely looking refrigerator before my 1 year warranty expires.

Nice Looking .. Very Very Loud

Just brought four major kitchen appliances from the Cafe line. Like them all but this one. It is so loud I can hear it from several rooms away. I don’t even enjoy being in my own home anymore because of the constant noise.

Small freezer

Product is nice. If you have a large family there is no space in the freezer.

Factory quality control lacking

The GE cafe refrigerator I have was the 4th refrigerator delivered to my home in 3 weeks The first two were foreign made and arrived not working. I decided to spend a bit more and buy an American tried and true brand, GE. The first GE frosted up the 1st night because the freezer door’s seal did not align with the fridge frame so it ran continuously. When the appliance store delivered the second one, it too had the same issue. There was a gap between the top of the freezer door and the frame. The owner of the appliance store was called again and when he investigated found 4 screws missing on the freezer door in both refrigerators. The appliance store harvested the needed screws from the floor model at the store . Since then it is performing well and I would recommend if you have space issues as I do. The freezer is smaller than I had hoped but that would be my only con.
I would recommend this to a friend!
