Matte Black is closer to Black Stainless

I really want to love this refrigerator and I love the idea of the customizable Cafe line, but I was incredibly disappointed to get my new Matte Black refrigerator only to discover it appears to be a re-marketing of the Black Stainless finish from the GE line. This really gives the appearance of a Slate Gray finish rather than Black. This might not be a problem for most, but, in my mind, does not fit the description as stated and was not the true black I was hoping for. Additionally, the Brushed Bronze hardware against the finish ends up looking more like Stainless than Bronze not giving that sharp contrast between black and gold/bronze. This review isn't to say it's a BAD product; I just feel it isn't marketed properly and wanted to make sure others know what they are getting into.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LIKE THE ADJUSTABILITY OF DRAWERS AND SHELVES. MY ENTIRE GROCERY PURCHASES FIND CONVENIENT CUBBIES. I LIKE IT BETTER THE LONGER WE USE IT.

Looks wonderful in my kitchen and I have so much more room than my old fridge. French doors make it more convenient and my freezer on the bottom is absolutely awesome

Too soon to rate?

Love the feature of having a freezer on the bottom and the fact that I don't have to crawl into my old refrigerator to see what is hiding and molding in the back. However, the odd noise mentioned by other reviewers has started already and I have only had it 10 days. So far at least 5 times today, a loud rattle sound, that lasts about 4 seconds but still irritating.
