Pretty, but Meh

We had GE appliances before and loved them. So, when gorgeous Cafe style was available for our new home, I got them. Unfortunately the bigger price tag does not come with a more quality product. You gets looks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 3 weeks

Ordered over a year ago, finally installed three weeks ago. Worked perfectly for first three weeks and now stopped working. First the freezer defrosted and then fridge stopped working. Waiting on "repair".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of space for a smaller refrigerator!

Very nice looking refrigerator. Lots of space inside. Adjustable shelving is a plus. Fits the 33 inch space perfectly.
Will take some time to get used to the inside water dispenser and I wish you could hold your cup up to the button to dispense the water. A little awkward holding cup with one hand and holding down button with the other on the inside wall of the refrigerator, but that is my only complaint.

BAD interior/exterior design features

Hope mechanically it lasts, because its functionality and BAD color concept if horrible. (1) Interior, there are not enough supports so can't arrange side draws too well. On Rt door there's a tinly mostly hidden shelf not too usable if one wants to store wine, milk bottles in shelf above. I place painters tape on necks of the short bottles/jars of items in that shelf to remind me items are there. Bottle w/ longish neck there prevent door from closing. Basically this is the same interior design, layout as what I had in my last 6 yr old GE profile. (2) I have a white Euro-look kitchen, mostly white. The sides and rubber door seal on this are all BLACK and stand out. I suppose since most of GE's items recently are stainless or black, and for the few all white appliance ordered, GE's saving a few thousand dollars in manufacturing. Apparently IT's profits are more important than customers' wants. IF I'd could have paid more to get all white rubber sealers, and sides painted white, I would have. (3) I'll now seek a quality painter to see if can rough up therse areas and paint white.... (4) handles are an awful copper-ish color with a gaudy copper ring so they could imprint 'CAFE' on it. Hardly a look of a high-end appliance in my opinion.

Repair issue

Not so good, compressor quit working after three years. Still waiting on repairman to show up after almost two months.

Wanted a 33" counter depth French door refrigerator and there are only so many to choose from. This one has great features and looks awesome. Very happy with it.

Somewhat disappointed

The first refrigerator did not work correctly and had to be replaced. The new one is working but temperature set does not match inside temp. Set to 36 degrees but always reads between 30-40 degrees. Not much room inside frig or freezer. Outside looks good.
