Classy looking appliance

So far we love our new refrigerator. We've only had it 3 weeks, but it is classy, and easy to use.

Horrible product

I hate this fridge/freezer so much! Ge use to be good , but now they are the absolute worst! All of our GE appliances are trash but the this fridge is the worst! It constantly freezes things than if you turn the temp up it makes meat go bad! The freezer seal is awful and tears all the time! Do not buy this fridge and stay away from GE in general.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Getting used to a french door

Getting used to a double door after a single door Amana. Ice maker loud. Freezer drawer small. Shelves not conducive to higher items unless you remove a shelf. Cracked a side condiment holder when it fell out- chesp plastic I guess.

Pretty but not practical.

Very simple and pretty but not convenient.
The water dispenser is uncomfortably placed in a tight spot inside the fridge with the button at the top of the dispenser so you’re forced to use two hands- one to press the button and the other to hold the cup.
Water comes out slowly, so you’re there for a long period of time (I do change the filter regularly) letting out the cold air from the fridge and waisting energy.

Great line of appliances

We purchased the Cafe line to replace our old Range, Dishwasher, Microwave and Refrigerator. The appearance and quality (per internet reviews) were the primary reasons for selecting this line of appliances. We had to replace the Range and our other appliances were over 10 years old and experiencing issues. The quality of the range and overall appearance of the line were our primary considerations. We were pleasantly surprised by the features on the refrigerator. Moving the water dispenser off the front of the door and into the interior is a great improvement. We also appreciate the control panels location on the upper interior molding.
I would recommend this to a friend!
