Love my new fridge!

I just received and had installed my new Café matte white French door refrigerator. It's the smallest model at 18.6 cubit feet and counter depth, which I love. It fits perfectly in the custom built space in my newly remodeled kitchen. I am looking forward to having the other Café appliances installed soon. Not only is she gorgeous but so efficient! The only small downside is the on/off slide button in the interior ice maker, is located in the bottom freezer drawer and not on the panel above in the refrigerator section as was my old refrigerator. Not a big deal and I would definitely buy this fridge again. Just something for GE to think about for a future model I also look forward to not having fingerprints show as on my old stainless steel. So far, so good! I love it!!

Cafe French Door refrigerator function and form

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite smaller capacity, my French door Cafe refrigerator after one year performs well consistently. I ordered brass door handles as an aesthetic upgrade. They lift the look from good design to great design with pizazz. Very happy with the Cafe line. Next on order is a Cafe slide-in range. Then a Cafe microwave. Thank you to GE for well-functioning appliances that look beautiful.

Bad refrigerator, good looks

Don't buy anything from this company. I have this model we bought in Nov 2024, the refrigerator stopped cooling in Sept 2025 within the 1 yr warranty and they kept sending multiple tech to fix it without any resolution over past many months. I kept asking for a replacement but they denied it every time. I'm so tired of this I ended up buying a new refrigerator from another brand. Imagine a company not honoring it's warranty and bothering the customer over so many months to live without a working fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great 33 inch refrigerator

I had two conditions in purchasing a new refridge, no fingerprints!!!!! Had to be small enough to fit in air 34 inch space.
Most refrigerators this size are not very attractive and limited in color. GE did a great job in putting some jazz into a small refrigerator. It’s exterior is beautiful and keeps its beautiful look with fingerprint resistant Matt Black exterior.
The water dispenser is inside so no streaks of water stains down the front. It’s a perfect fit! Love the features this little dynamo has. Best of all is the handles. I can open it without having to come in contact with the door surface !!! The handles are easy to keep clean and look attractive.
It’s definitely the attention getter in my little kitchen !!!!

Size info not right

Bought this fridge for my patnry and using the spec guide per this website, we built the cabinet for this fridge. The fridge is just over 33" in width not 32 3/4. The appliance store is now charging us a 20% restock fee to return the fridge unopened even though the specs per GE and their guide as well showed 32 3/4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just bought this fridge along with their whole line, received it today unwrapping and setting this up has been a nightmare. The blue plastic was glued on and stuck under the seams...needless to say a razor, tweezers and a safety pine and hours of my time to get the blue wrapper off is a bit ridiculous. There is also a glue on strofoam that has permently stuck to the inside of my fridge and freezer. Spent way to much money on this to be damaging while trying to take off the packaging, I have never written a negative review before in my life, but this is the last thing I wanted to deal with after all the drama of doing our kitchen. Very very disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is beautiful and a great value, I shopped around a lot for fridges that have this look and this is by far the best value. I will also be ordering the rest of the appliances that go with it.
