Peace of mind

Having the bands give me peace of mind. I was very nervous (first time mom here) about putting my son in his own room, but the bands really helped me sleep peacefully. He doesn’t wake up and sleeps better wearing them then when I forget to put them on for nap time.

It seems to fit uncomfortably. It is tighter than a swaddle. I worry about the radio frequency or blue rays harming my baby.

Breathing Band Confusion

The instructions are not clear. On the breathing band it says to wear the wrap around the baby's chest with his arms out. Does this mean you can't monitor your baby's breathing if he is swaddled? Also the images on the nanit website show the band being worn two ways (arms in, in the case of the larger band/sleep sacks and arms out for what appear to be the smaller band). This is confusing, please clarify

Needs work.

The stars are for the quality of the product itself. The materials are great and the design works so that it fits our daughter well.
Sadly the downfall for us was with the app system. We used the 'breathing insights' feature once, and the alarm was triggered for no apparent reason – we contacted support and they said it seemed like the camera needed to be closer? – nevertheless, my wife and I had a small heart attack, and whilst the idea is great in principle, it was the first and the last time that we used it.
I would try it again if I was assured that it was more reliable, otherwise, we will be happy to use the app without the band.

We use this band during daytime naps. It fits my little guy perfect. Sometimes it scrunches up Bc he moves a lot but always works. It makes me feel less anxious and can get stuff done while he sleeps!
