Poor design - middle section CHOKED my child!

My baby loves to be swaddled but quickly gets out of wraps so I was hopeful this would work. I loved the idea of the breathing monitor to work with the camera, but unfortunately the 2 times we tried this swaddle, the middle section ended up under his chin and woke him up choking. YUCK! From what I can tell, this is a poor design. The strap should be just even an inch lower so this doesn't happen. Sadly for us, this was a complete waste of money...

I followed all instructions for washing, but the band shrunk significantly. It is now almost too small for my 4 month old, and it is meant to last up to a 2 year old. I appreciate the peace of mind that comes from the breathing monitoring, but it will just not last very long and potentially not be worth it. Additionally, whenever I remove the baby from the crib, the camera dings about 5 minutes later after it realized the breathing band is no longer there. I haven't found a way to turn this off, and it is a pain in the middle of the night when I take him out to feed him because it wakes him right up.

Love the tech

The breathing band is a great idea. You can pare it with almost any sleep outfit. Stays on securely and doesn’t seem uncomfortable for the baby. My only objection is I wish the Velcro wasn’t so loud when removing or adjusting. If I have to adjust it on a 1/2 asleep baby, it wakes him up. I have some sleep sacks that have quiet zippers & snaps, would be great to have a quiet Velcro closure.

I love my Nanit system but the bands are really great! They have a Velcro that doesn’t get stuck to everything else when I wash it, but still strong enough to stay put throughout the night! You can tell them put a lot of thought into their projects.

The sleep sag is very hard to zip up at the top around the chest. Super tight very bad design!
