The Pop Socket is recessed too far into the case itself which makes the profile better in the pocket however, since it is recessed so far down into the case it is difficult to utilize the Pop Socket fully when you deploy it and wrap your fingers around it. It's very difficult to get a grip on the phone and the case is slippery in the hand.
The Pop Socket on the case will also not work with the Pop Socket Car vent product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love popsockets and otterbox, and to have them together is perfect! So convenient and slimlined so the popsocket doesn't get hung up when putting the phone in my pocket. I will definitely buy this type for phones in the future.

The case and concept are very nice. Unfortunately, the pop socket doesn’t come out as far as I needed for it to be comfortable. I’m 6-5 and have large hands/fingers, and it’s just not ergonomic enough for me. My 5-4 wife tried it out and thought the integrated pop socket was comfortable.
I would return the product but my large hands actually broke the integrated pop socket.

I have the smallest hands ever and I am always dropping phones, I decided to order this case as it was pretty and sturdy. With the pop socket on it I doubt I’ll drop it and if I do the sides of the case cover the edge of the screen and it feels very reliable and well fitted.
