Every phone I’ve ever had has had an Otterbox Case. They are amazing and I recommend them often. I purchased the Otterbox Pop which I love the case. The Pop doesn’t support your phone when it’s sitting sideways. It’s very unstable and falls over frequently. If it wasn’t for this issue I would have given five stars.

I bought this case, when I usually get the Defender but I wanted something more compact. These case is beautiful and has been good. My main complaint is that the pop socket does not hold the case up when I try to use it as a "kick stand" it just flops over. So one of the main purposes it does not meet expectations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While using that OtterBox as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. The only suggestion I have (but am confident that there are reasons why this was done) is to put the pop dot in the center of the phone so that it doesn't tend to want to tip toward the heavier side when I have it open and set on a table. That is my only suggestion. High fives on this one!

I previously had an otterbox symmetry with a separate pop socket. The popsocket was nice, but the adhesive was failing. With the integrated pop socket I’ll never have to worry about that again.
One difference is that the location of the “pop” is slightly recessed. That means when fully extended, the pop socket does not have quite as much clearance as I had before with the separate case and separate pop. It’s okay for me, but for someone with larger hands or fingers may notice a difference.
