Doesn’t have any protection on the front screen. If buying from Canada, way overpriced.

Hi Tann,
We're so sorry you're having mixed feelings about this Defender Series case.
We decided to fore-go the built-in screen protector to ensure complete functionality with the curved touchscreen. Our engineers redesigned the Defender Series in order to provide the same drop protection even without the built-in screen protector or an extra glass screen protector. The addition of the Alpha Glass provides your phone with premium protection and outperforms our previous Defender Series designs. Feel free to check it out below!
It’s a really solid case, for sure will keep your (and mine) phone safe. It’s just the little things that take the score down. The photos online of the case don’t exactly match up with the build. The surround ridge on the back side seems way more pronounced in the picture than on the actual case, seems small and petty but I was looking for that style to give such a bulky case some character. The biggest complaint I have about the case though is that the pop is not actually centerer on the centre of gravity of the actual phone, again seems petty but when the phone is in the pop holders sold by pop it slowly leans and finally flips upside down...if you try and start horizontal (like to watch a movie) it’s does not stay at all. All that said, if you don’t plan on using the stand that pop sells to hold the case (as I did for it’s minimalist size in the car and work) it’s a solid case, I work as a paramedic and no longer worry about the phone breaking or cracking while at work.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for the candid feedback.
Unfortunately, even though we do our best to put up an accurate representation of the color and style of the case, sometimes things can get lost in translation, so to speak, due to different monitors, etc. Nonetheless, we're still confident it will provide some of the best protection available to safeguard your investment. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to ping us below and we'd love to chat!
Bought it because of color. Case is okay. Pop out part keeps coming out. Can't use wireless charger anymore. Otter is a good case, just not crazy about this pop thing. Was expensive.

Hi Lyn,
We're so sorry this Otter + Pop Defender Series case isn't checking off all your boxes this time around. To clarify, are you removing the PopTop before wireless charging? This will help with a seamless charging experience. If you're looking for something a little different, please feel free to check out our other iPhone Xs Max cases below!
I got my new phone and case recently and am very happy with it. I have not only dropped but accidentally threw my phone and it has been fine. I should warn anyone going from really old defender series cases to one for the new phones, I had to buy a separate screen protector (also OtterBox) that is also doing a great job. I am in love with the pop feature if this case, it is new to me but so convenient!
So glad I got the defender with pop socket. It’s been worth having, I stopped dropping my phone on my face and I don’t have to worry about dropping my phone- terrible clutz. Also don’t have to worry when the children take my phone and run off.
First off, otterbox’s cases are and have always been top quality for providing protection for your device. However the pop socket IMO doesn’t quite work well with my iPhone XS. I can only imagine it with bigger phones. When using it in landscape mode, placing it on a flat surface, it drops. Even if I angle it to possibly create a larger surface area to stabilize, it falls. Charging: 50/50 on a Qi charger. I have to remove the socket. Which brings me to gripe 3: it’s not the easiest “popping” off the pop socket. I feel like I’m going to bend my phone in half when I attempt to remove it. Otherwise your choice. I’m probably not buying another one like this, but a regular case I would.
