I purchased this iPhone SE (2nd gen) Phone case for a new phone. I had a iPhone 6 case while that fit the newer Phone it just didn’t fit as good as the Otter box defender case a great plus was the pop socket
This is my second case. I paid less for my first case, so I didn’t feel as bad about the issues, but it wore out over time. But both cases had these issues: 1. Typing inaccuracies - honestly, I don’t know if it’s the case or the phone itself, but it’s probably a combination of both. 2. Dust and hair gets under the screen. I hate having to open the case to clean it. This was the major issue with my first case. After a while, the rubber stretched out and dirt collected on the plastic case. It’s annoying. 3. The cover for the home button bubbles up and then the phone stops recognizing your finger for unlocking the device. I had to tear out the cover in my last screen protector and I might have to do it with this one too.

Hi there!
We're sorry to hear about your frustration with your Otter + Pop Defender Series case! We appreciate your feedback about the screen cover and home button film, and we'll be sure to let our design team know about your experience. As for the sensitivity issues with your screen, we sometimes see this pop up if an additional screen protector is installed on the device alongside the one built into the case. If you're not using any extra screen protection, feel free to reach out to our helpful Customer Service Team at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you helped out.
I bought this case a little while ago, and as much as I wanted to like it, using it stressed me out enough that I had to remove it and go caseless because the trade off wasn’t worth it. For reference, I had a glass screen protector underneath the case itself—and maybe that was too much of a barrier between the phone and the outside world, but in any event a good 50% of touches went unregistered. The tipping point was realizing that if anything popped up in front of the Maps app while driving, I couldn’t safely do anything about it without pulling over. I’m confident that the phone was protected and if I ever go hiking then maybe I’ll find the case again, but in day to day life I just can’t use it.

Hi there!
We're sorry to hear about any confusion with your recent purchase! Keep in mind, we do not recommend using an additional screen protector alongside a Defender Series case that already has a screen protector built in. Removing that additional protection should improve the touch functionality of your device. If you run into any issues with your case, please don't hesitate to give us a ring at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you taken care of.
I finally spent a little more and invested in an iphone and I wanted to protect it. The Pop Defender Case provides protection for my new phone and I no longer an afraid to drop it. I am much more comfortable using my phone with the Pop Defender case.
Originally I really liked the base, great for being outside a lot in Colorado. I had only had it a few months when the pop socket broke off of the case. I have looked all over and not been able to find a way to reattach the pop socket, without replacing the entire case. Regret this purchase.
