The user interface has much built in so choices are very easy to make and get you up and using the oven quickly. The capacity of the oven is very large and it is very quiet when running. My one disappointment so far is in the timer feature - not the cook timer but the general timer. You can only set hours an minutes, not seconds; and, you cannot add time to a running timer. For an appliance of this cost is seems a little ridiculous not to put in seconds (what if you want to set a 90 second timer) or add time to a running timer. In the latter you have to cancel the timer and start over.
It is nice having so many cooking modes in one unit. Be advised that you can't set up the microwave to run remotely more than five minutes in advance. If you have visitors (e.g. in-laws) who may be using this device, be sure to brief them on the need to swap out glass and metal trays, depending on the function used. We had a guest use the oven on microwave cycle with the metal pan that comes with the unit and suffered some minor damage to the interior finish from arcing. Similarly, if you use the glass pan meant for microwaving , while using a conventional heating mode, you may end up shattering the glass tray.. I question how long the plastic covering on the touch screen is going to hold up, and it is a bit odd that the Cafe refrigerator well use its smaller screen to provide a slide show, but this feature is not available on this oven with its larger screen. Also, I wish it had a real kitchen time that could be set for seconds, not just minutes. Finally, we've had multiple updates sent to the unit by wifi, which puts the unit off line for about thirty minutes -- though you can tell it to wait. This clearly has a computer built in and GE seems to still be experimenting with the firmware.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello,
We’re glad to hear you’ve been enjoying your new oven and all the fantastic features that it has to offer. It’s great that you’re cautious about using the correct cookware when using the different cooking modes, and letting guests know ahead of time is a great way to help prevent accidents. We’re sorry that there is no slideshow option on this model and that the timer works in minutes instead of seconds. We take your feedback seriously and will forward these suggestions to our product team so that they could potentially be available on future models or through an update. We are constantly working to improve our products; our smart appliances, such as this one, have the added benefit of being able to receive updates at any time to help improve operation or add features. We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and please feel free to reach out with anything you may need. Best regards. -MichaelB@Café
It’s a beautiful appliance. The microwave is fine and the interface package is terrific. But the convection oven process is no it consistent with other ovens.
The Advantium Smart Oven is a huge step above a traditional microwave. The microwave is fast and offers multiple setting tailored to what you are cooking or warming. The Sense feature is great. The convection oven is a great back-up instead of heating the larger wall oven. Crispy Reheat feature is slick for food that need to be reheated but not soggy.
Happy with this but have only been using it for 14 days. Hope the reliability is good. We just needed an under-counter microwave to fit into a spot where another microwave had been, and this was the closest one. We did not need the other features, but I'm sure we will use them at some point.
I love the styling of this oven. The microwave, crisp reheat and broiling features work well. The convection feature works very well for reheat, and I am learning to bake with that feature.
