Looks more like the version in the movie

Kylo Ren’s shuttle is an enjoyable build. Decent size and an excellent selection of minifigures. The wings can extend for flight. The mechanism used is simple and effective. The inside of the cockpit has space for 3 minifigures. There is no additional interior space. You cannot see the minifigures from the cockpit but the transparent red bricks are a nice touch to the look of the design. There is even a small boarding ramp that can be deployed. It is unusable but this is a nice touch. This set doesn’t have any stickers which I always enjoy. The color change from the 2015 set is nice to see and overall this model is closer to the movie version.
I got this set almost 2 years ago now and I am just going to say that this set is amazing from it box art to accuracy And it still holds up to this day. Well anyway that was my review.
Just got this the other day and I'm already in love with it! The design is amazing, the build was fun and there's a great minifigure selection. It's great for both display or play whichever one you plan on using it for.
I built this over the course of a few days, as the lead assistant for a determined five year old. A lot of it was accessible to her, although some of the trickier technic pieces were more for me in terms of the instructions and the execution (to be clear, the difficulty rating is relative to the top level of complexity and scale in the SW setting, like the black box sets).
I ended up liking it a whole lot more than I expected, and as a design and use of cool Lego tricks, I think it's much more successful as a design and as a toy than either of the X Wings we've built, which are more fragile and more fiddly, and have less things to do when they are being played with. It has a lot of really nice playability features, although I'm excited to see that the new imperial shuttle actually uses the interior space more fully for minifigs rather than the (very cool) mechanical underpinnings that are the heart of this one.
It's very sturdy and resilient for everyday play, and of course the Kylo minifig is a very cool addition to any collection. A much stronger recommendation than I would have expected. Only downside is the thing inherent to many craft builds, which is having to do one side and then do the other mirror image, which is fine for me but can try the patience of kids.
Got to love the black on this ship! The build was easier than expected. The selection of mini figures was fantastic. Got to love the Knights of Ren! It’s not as big as I expected but that’s good because I have limited space for my collection. The only drawback was that I was missing one black 2x2 brick but that was needed inside the wing, so that’s not noticeable. Great job on this Star Wars ship!
It was decent, I'm just glad I didn't get the 2015 variant. The figures were definitely the strong point, but besides that, I don't have much to say about it.
