Hi, I'm Juan and I'm from Chile. This Christmas I asked for the 4x4 x-treme and I loved it. I have never built sets with such complex systems before.
the app is really good and the car is very flexible. I have several legos but this one has been the most challenging and entertaining.

More than expected. Good product

I Was pleased to learn again how to build a lego car step by step , after a long brake of 25 years. since my first car in the '90 . The set has everything it needs, long build time , lots of new things to learn about direction , suspensions , etc. The set took me 8 hours to fully build it in one go , but it was worth it . The car can be controlled very easy from the phone app . Is like my new pet . It is easy and challenging in the same time with lots of building rewards, and in the end u got a remote car . Was more than what i expected. Great product !

Gear Rattle

Like the product except the gears rattle really loudly when going forward. Very little to no noise from the gears in reverse.
I don't think we want to build it again but if there is a easy fix, we would be interested.

Thanks for your review. If the set's making more noise than expected, that might be a sign that something is a little off in the build. Rebuilding should do the trick. Customer Service may be able to help out with some tips. Head over to LEGO.build/Service to get in touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Legos 4 x 4 x-treme off-roader is extreme! It is a challenging Lego set but so much fun putting it together and seeing the final project. It took my 11 year old a lot of time and had help from me, my friends, and his friends to get to the end result. But, that's what made it so much fun. It is so cool that you can use the app on your phone to control the off-roader. I don't think he will want to take this one apart for a very long time. He enjoys it so much. What a great way for your child to do something challenging with his or her mind. I would definitely recommend this Lego set to everyone that wants hours of entertainment.

I would like to say this was my first time building with legos. I found it pretty easy to follow along in the manual and pretty easy to put together. Thanks for the great memories with my sons.
