One of my favorite architecture sets ever!

This is a great set. It has some really unique techniques used during building (I’m kinda obsessed with how you build the steps) that make it fun to build. The ability to open parts of the back and look into the gallery is very cool. Like other reviewers, I wish the “artwork” wasn’t so juvenile, but it’s still a really neat feature. The trees, fountains, and buses bring great color and visual interest to the set and it’s just an all around great set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun build

Just returned to lego building hobby and this was my "first" build since I stopped for 3 years. Building the Square was fun, and I enjoyed building the small details it came with. I had no problems with this product and would recommend.

Solid but not great

I love the intent of the Architecture series but I think they could improve on the details that a hobbyist would truly appreciate. As a fan of the National Gallery I was very disappointed that Lego chose to feature generic children's art as opposed to any of the famous pieces that are actually on display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
