The set is well worth its money. I did have a little bit of trouble putting the base together but it was all due to personal recklessness. I ended up finishing it in one sitting as soon as I could.

Pushing Propaganda vs Historical Accuracy

The set was actually pretty decent and a nice building experience. The worst part is the rainbow art inside the gallery, not for historical reasons but to push a narrative. I don't want my hobby or my gifts to my children to be plagued by political nonsense.

This lego set is terrible. It broke when I was about 10 steps away from completing it, and it all just blew up. This is the worst lego set ever and is a complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY

Very Difficult!!!

I keep all my pieces very organized in little individual little bags, so I can promise you that there were some pieces missing which made everything more difficult. I had to figure out what would and would fit with this build without directions half way through this build! There were so many pieces missing I thought they wanted to force me to buy a 2nd set just I could complete it accurately. The directions weren't super helpful either, because the angles of the directions pictures didn't make sense to what I was actually seeing at in person. I felt a strong positive sense in accomplishing it when it was finished though. Generally I also found this build was boring because it didn't have any character pieces in it. My final version of this build is a formatted version because so many pieces were missing and I didn't like the way some of the directions told me to do things. Wouldn't recommend this build. The little cars and double decker bus were very cute though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Wonderful and Underrated Build

I love the Lego architecture series, but some of the constructions can appear rather bland in color; however, this Trafalgar Square set is not like those. It is visually striking and vibrant! What's more, the clever use of Lego pieces to create the building and the stairwell is nothing short of genius. I'm actually suprised that this set doesn't get more love. A wonderful build at an excellent value: I cannot recommend it highly enough.

It is possible to build this without instructions

Just use the pictures on the box, and the overview pictures on the first page of the instructions, showing what is in each bag. Add a little bit of logic, and you have yourself a GREAT puzzle!
Plus this looks so good once completed. Can't travel to London at the moment, but this is as good of a replacement as there is.
I would recommend this to a friend!
