That's a great Air Fryer. It has a large pan and easy to clean. It is unit with multiple function and easy to use.
The cooking time reported in its manual is not accurate. Normally cooking time suggested should be increased 30% more. Great product.

Produces noxious off-gassing/burnt plastic odour

Unfortunately the unit produced a lot of off-gas / noxious burnt plastic smell during use. Even after thoroughly cleaning with dish soap, vinegar and running the unit at high temperatures initially as directed, the smell was still present. Not worth the risk to ones health no matter how low the cost of the unit. Took several days to fully get rid of the smell from the kitchen, returned to the BestBuy for a full refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, a good machine though it is quite loud so not quite a 5 star. Make sure you pay attention to the suggested cooking levels and time. I've found that it cooks quickly and hot. Just adjust by trial and error the first couple of times you use it.

The front bottom 'steel' clad plastic piece has nuts embedded in it. These nuts are used to bolt on the bottom drip pan. The bolts constantly unscrew from the nuts because they are not 'locked' in. After a few months of constant adjustment, the embedded nuts fall out of their holders and are impossible to replace. The bottom piece is required for the unit to operate. For completion, the three screws that hold the basket to the handle also continually unscrew. We used this fryer about 3 times a week for five months and it is useless now. It has been a constant source of stress and needed constant adjustment. When the remaining bolt fell out again the entire pan and basket dropped to the floor and bent out of shape. What a horrible design. The worst I have ever witnessed in a kitchen appliance! I wish I could submit pictures. You have been warned!

Would not buy this one again

— The temperature and timer dial make it very difficult to know the precise temperature and time.
— Many frozen items like frozen fries, hash browns, spring rolls turn out quite well (but not perfect)
— The handle/tray takes quite a bit of brute force to pull out and insert.
— There are uneven cold spots and some hot spots too
— Terrible plastic smell while frying. You must ensure you run it on the maximum setting for 20 minutes (like the manual says) but it may take many uses to mostly eliminate the smell which seeps into the food
— Overall, a bit of a disappointment. I would pay more for the digital version.
