Missed the mark for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is not much to this coffee vessel but I somehow am left wanting more. First the directions are not very descriptive so you're left pressing the only 2 buttons trying to find the right combination to brew get it to brew. Finally after 45 minutes I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee, the flavor was delicious but when I wake up in the morning the first thing I want is a cup of coffee and I don't want to wait 40 minutes to enjoy one.
If you like coffee and have a lot of time to brew it in the morning, then this is for you. I prefer my coffee to have a timer so it can be ready by the time I get up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The right brewer for the busy connoisseur

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this coffee pot, for a lot of reasons. First, it is beautiful - it is by far the most elegant small appliance I have ever owned. The aesthetic definitely promises amazing coffee, and it didn’t disappoint. The “golden cup“ feature made a perfect pot of coffee. Next I made coffee with the pour over setting. Also excellent. Then, when my daughter was home we made iced coffee and we were both amazed at how good it was. So, a very versatile coffee maker to be sure. I give it five stars because the drawbacks are more user error type problems than coffee maker problems. First, I didn’t remove the cone drip filter holder from the pot before trying to pour a cup of coffee and because of it being inside the carafe, instead of above on the brewer, I poured coffee grounds into my cup. So if you are expecting it to function like your last coffee pot, you likely will make that mistake. The second minor drawback is the lid to where you pour the fresh water into the brewer, it isn’t that easy to open. You have to twist it and then it looks like you punch it to lift it up, but it doesn’t really work that way - maybe I will get better at that as I use it, but even as it is, I don’t really mind using two hands to lift off the lid. Everything else about the brewer is so elegant, it’s a small price to pay. Overall this is a great coffee maker if you want a precise type of coffee brew but don’t want to hover over the making of it. I can recommend this pot wholeheartedly. It is beautiful and functional. Five stars!

Love the design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product if you have time to wait 5 minutes for the coffee to brew. Only concern is as I began to pour the coffee the lid slightly came open. Love the way the filter sits inside coffee pot. And coffee taste great!

Great product! Works well!

Major morning coffee upgrade!

This 3-in-1 Specialty Brewer is just what I needed! The quality of each cup is both consistent and incredible, and being able to choose between pour over, drip, or iced coffee is a dream come true.

Coffee Less Special

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Item was as described. I would not have this around small children though. Whole unit gets very hot as the water is boiled. Yes, you can see the water boil.
The carafe is very big but only about 1/2 of the physical space is used for coffee. The rest is head space for the filter basket.
Although coffee taste has a smooth finish, it seems to takes more time to set it up, wait for the boil and then brew than most coffee machines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brews awesome coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This De'Longhi 3-in-1 Specialty Brewer works awesome and makes really great tasting coffee! It is very stylish and sleek looking. When it first starts to brew, the water heats up in the top which is clear glass and cool to see. The water instantly starts getting hot and you can watch it bubble. Then it starts to brew using a pour over method. The coffee this brews is incredible! I am so impressed with how much better coffee tastes in this compared to other coffee makers. The main reason for getting this was because of the iced coffee feature which did not disappoint. Ice goes right into the carafe. As the coffee brews it pours over the ice. The coffee does not get watered down at all. You end up with a delicious cup of iced coffee which I never thought was possible at home! Overall I am extremely satisfied with the De'Longhi 3-in-1 Specialty Brewer and would recommend it to anyone especially iced coffee drinkers.

Perfect iced coffee!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item was easy to use. The quality is good; the item is durable. I thought the proportions of the pitcher and the water reservoir were weird, but it makes since because of the amount of water you may need for your coffee. I plugged the item in and followed the directions in the booklet to make ice coffee. I poured 4 oz of water in the resevoir, then filled the pitcher with ice to the max line, then put 8 cups of ground coffee into the insert that goes inside the pitcher. Last, I pressed the over ice button for the item to start working. It took about 5-7 minutes for it to finish and the coffee was very strong. It did drip out little by little but I think that was to make sure the hot water that passed through the grounds didnt just melt the ice once it hit. Overall, very good product and works as advertised.
I would recommend this to a friend!
