Makes a great cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I've been using this coffee maker I'm happy to make coffee always. It works so good and makes a strong good effective cup of coffee a cup that I enjoy each time. There is three ways to brew this coffee pour over, over ice and SCA Golden. I've done all three ways and like them each. I love how the over ice brews it to where it won't water down. It's a very simple machine to use and comes with a book to help you out but basically add water and press the button. It has measuring lines for the water and ice and I find that very helpful. This is my new favorite coffee maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great coffee, product broke after 15 months

Love this pot. Begrudgingly buying another one after it broke after only having it for about 15 months. It rubs me the wrong way when a product stops working a few months after the warranty runs out… started smelling like burnt rubber and water rubs right through when poured in. anyway coffee is good and doesn’t take up a lot of space. This second one better last longer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really smooth, excellent coffee...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using my French press, but the problem with using the French press and tea kettle is that I can’t be sure of what the temperature is unless I use a thermometer. What a hassle! Have you ever tried coffee where the water was boiled? If you had you’d know. This is a pretty cool device—the water temperature stays consistent throughout—so you are ensured to have a beautiful cup of coffee without having to think about it. There are three ways to use this machine: the golden cup, pour over, and placing ice inside of the pot. I prefer to make the coffee more concentrated and then pour over ice. When you use the ice directly in the pot it does melt most of the ice and it dilutes the coffee—which some people prefer. This machine is pretty easy to use and is lightweight, since it is made of high density plastic. The lid turns and locks in place. The instructions are simple snd easy to follow. After the initial descaling I was enjoying a perfectly smooth, balanced coffee. I can really taste the difference. I highly recommend!

Great cup of coffee!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start out by saying I love the look of this coffee pot it goes perfectly with my stainless steel appliances. I also like that you can see just about every inch of it makes it easy to clean. The coffee pot came with everything I needed from filters a filter holder and a coffee scoop. The coffee taste delishes and the buttons are easy to reach. The bonus is the coffee has the option for iced coffee and since we are a house divided when it comes to hot and cold this was perfect. Note you do have to empty the filter before pouring a cup but they added a handle to the basket for it.

Wonderful Coffee

The brewing process is basically the same as every other brewer, fill up the filter with grounds and select your desired brew.
The brew selection can be a little confusing; there are 3 brewing methods to choose from but only two buttons. One of the buttons is shared between iced coffee & pour-over. For pour-over coffee the button needs to be double tapped, otherwise it defaults to iced coffee. I think having 3 buttons - a dedicated button for each function - would have been better.
This coffee brewer takes a little longer to heat up, but it's not a big deal. I only mention it because this might not be the best option for you if you're constantly in a rush or need your coffee in less than 10 minutes.

Love the design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product if you have time to wait 5 minutes for the coffee to brew. Only concern is as I began to pour the coffee the lid slightly came open. Love the way the filter sits inside coffee pot. And coffee taste great!

Tasty coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I love coffee, this Delonghi Specialty Brewer was very straigh forward and easy to setup and use. It is a very nice looking appliance offering 3 n 1 coffee brewing options and a bit mesmerizing to watch the top half come to a boil. It has a glass carafe that has 8 cups and can also be filled with ice for iced coffee. If you are looking for home brewing options, we strongly recommend this. Delonghi has become a trusted a name in quality and style in our home.
