Great Refrigerator with a Terrible Ice Maker

The refrigerator is great. The ice maker does not make enough ice and does not replinish the ice when the ice bin is low on ice. I do not recommend purchasing the refrigerator due to the extremely poor performance of the ice make. Great refigerator with a major flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this refrigerator!

We upgraded from a 20 year old 18 cubic foot, GE profile refrigerator to this 22 cubic foot French door fridge. I love the ability to see the whole interior of the refrigerator compartment without bending over to view it. It has great LED Interior lighting, and the counter depth prevents you from losing items in the rear of the fridge. I am still adjusting to a drawer style freezer. I am slowly learning how to organize it for optimal use. The appliance is super quiet, and does what expected. We really like the slate color. We weren't especially looking for water/ice through the door, but it is convenient when you need ice cubes. Before this one, we relied upon ice cube trays. We purchased this model because there was a great sale on the counter depth, which we wanted for a sleeker look. The only con, that I can think of, is that you need both doors of the refrigerator compartment opened in order to open the climate zone double wide drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In the door ice maker is overall small and does not refill quickly . No extra ice maker in the freezer portion.

I was hesitant to get a counter-depth refrig because of the limited space, but this one is very roomy! My friend’s LG is much smaller. Looks beautiful in my new kitchen too.

Its a great unit and my family would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a french door refrigerator. Setup was a breeze and after the filtration system for both ice and water had been cycled a few times. It was like drinking bottled water! The amount of storage was ample and the ease at which you can change the water filter is a godsend! Can't recommend the product enough. Thanks GE!
