Only concern is the flimsy black ring on top. I know it works well with out it but it is the only way to pulse the cut. Still we love it.

However chopping vegetables and nuts is no better than a blender. Some not chopped some very small. Followed directions. May invest in 9 cup processor for more control. Don't recommend.
