To hard to get apart

I bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace my original mini food processor. It is too hard to get the bowl unscrewed from the machine. When I tried to remove the lid (and there aren't instructions- so you have to log on to kitchenaid.com and watch the video to figure it out) it was so tight the black piece came only came off. Thankfully it didn't break! Kitchenaid- you over engineered it that I can't even get the thing open. I own most of your products but this is being returned. Extremely dissatisfied.

One of the worst kitchen devices I have ever exp

This was a gift to replace a small food processor I had. Don’t remember brand or model. This procduct is such a disappoint. Assembling the cup and cover in order to activate this devise is so far beyond intuitive it should not be sold. It also has only chop and purée selections. Could deal with only chop/purée if only getting this item to operate was intuitive. Frustration level is too high to bother using.

Loved it at first, but then.......

At first, like for a month or so, I absolutely loved this little machine, but then on day I plugged it in to use it and it started running at full speed and nothing I could do would shut it off except unplugging it. This is really terrible because I used this little food processor to prepare my invalid husband's food so he could swallow it without choking. I can still sort of use it, but only on high speed and plugging it in or out to start and stop it. Please advise me on how to remedy this problem. It even runs without the lid on it. EEEEK.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received as a gift and love it. Powerful food chopper and takes up very little space in my kitchen.

concern. I purchased one of these after the prior one that I had gave out after continuous use. the new one has been nothing but difficult to use, it just does not work. I watched your video, I took care in working carefully to make sure I did it right I returned it, got a second one, and the problem continued. I finally gave up and purchased a different brand that works, not as well as my first that I used continually. Now I have yours that does not work and I'm stuck with the cost on a non working unit. My first one was wonderful, I wished that I had purchased several of the,, the new model is a nightmare. I have a kitchen full of Kitchen Aid products, and for the first time, I am so disappointed, it was/is discouraging. By the way,I am Sallly Lively,

Very difficult to use

This appliance is very difficult to use. I have a hard time figuring out how to get it to process food. The lid is difficult to attach and I can not figure out how to get it to run once I have put food in to be processed. I tried to make salsa recently and ended up using my blender to chop everything up. I would not recommend this product.

Hard to use food chopper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to take this back to JC Penny's to have someone get the lid off! They did get it off, but it's still a problem for me.
I spent a couple hours on line for instructions how to get it off....and another hour on the phone with a KitchenAid person who was no help at all!
At this point I don't know what to do. My son is able to get it off, which is no help to me cause he doesn't live near me.
This product is a disappointment to me....to be KitchenAid.
