Great addition to my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using a hand crank chopper and thought it was just fine, until I was gifted with this food chopper. For such a compact unit, it's quite powerful. I've used it to chop carrots, meats, nuts and other tough items, and the puree function produces smooth dressings and sauces. The capacity is perfect as well. The size makes it easy to store, and the cord storage around the base of the unit is ingenious. Really pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cooked professionally for a long time and love the prep aspect of making a recipe but I have arthritis in my hands now that can make knife work difficult. I have all the tools a well equipped kitchen should have including a large food processor; fine for bigger jobs but I needed something better sized for everyday meals for the two of us. The 3.5 cup food chopper is perfect. Easy to use, sharp blade, sweet slide control from Chop to Puree and pulse or steady on. Smart looking pistachio color and small footprint with a wraparound cord. Handsome enough to sit on the countertop between uses.

I bought one for my daughter for Christmas. She used it once. She tried to use it tonight and it won’t work. Garbage.

The unit is very difficult to align properly so that you can use it. Every other unit I've owned was easily snapped into position for use. This one is not. If you like wrestling with your chopper this for you. I would not recommend it. Irritating that this was sent to market like this. It should be snap and go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best chopper I have in so many years, Its compact doesn't take much of the counter space and I love how it has space to wrap the wire around it.
Now coming to the features, Its so easy to use with chop & puree setting & I have chopped nuts, parmesan cheese, all kind of veggies. The puree setting is good for making sauces & pastes.
I use lot of garlic & ginger in my cooking & this chopper helps me in chopping it finely everyday.

Also I have also kneaded 1 cup of flour in it & I was amazed how soft it the dough was. The Best part if its dishwasher safe along with the blade & I dont have to worry about washing it :-)
KItchen Aid appliances always exceeds the expectation.

Do not - under any circumstances, buy this product. If someone gives it to you as a gift, return it. Aligning the bowl on the base in just the right way so that it will actually work takes pure luck. If you try 10-12 times, it might just work on the 12th time - or it might not. Complete piece of junk.
