Great for salsas and sauces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little chopper. I primarily use it for making salsa and pesto. I can easily combine all my vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients in one place and simply chop or blend. I often struggle with large food processers because the blade isn't low enough to chop all the ingredients. This little chopper is the answer! It gets every little ingredient, all the way to the bottom.

Great Little Chopper with Little Fuss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little compact KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper is a great addition to any kitchen. I think KitchenAid put a lot of thought in the design of this thing. I plan on making my own ground meats from now on; you never know what might be in the store bought stuff.
PROS:
- 3.5 cup volume is not too big or too small
- 3 ft power cord wraps around the base for storage. Anything longer would become a nuisance.
- You don't have to stress out about which setting to use; there are only 2, "CHOP" and "PUREE".
- There is a drizzle basin on top for you to add liquids to your mix. (It's really helpful when making pesto.)
- Quiet motor
- 3.5 cup volume is not too big or too small

- To turn it on, you just hold the handle down with your thumb. I'm afraid after a few uses, it might break or stop toggling.
- There is a deep and narrow hole in the middle of the blade piece that food gets into and it's hard to clean without a "bottle brush," which makes cleaning inconvenient.

Small but mighty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of the KitchenAid - 3.5 Cup Food Chopper, small enough to store easily so it is not taking counter space, but big enough to get the job done! I also like that the cord wraps right around the base of the chopper. You can chop, mix or puree. The drizzle basin is probably my favorite part; built right into the lid it really makes it easy to mix up dressings or sauces without the mess. Clean up is pretty simple too, with only 3 pieces to wash. I'm always happy when things are high-quality, yet simple!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chopper is small and easy to store. It’s the perfect size to make dressings, or chop up small items. I like how the cord has a spot to wrap around the chopper for storage. It’s easy to take apart and clean. KitchenAid quality I know and expect. I have a feeling I’m going to be using this little guy a lot!

Easy for every day use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little chopper. I cook multiple meals every day for my family of 4 plus work full time. I need things to be smart and easy. This chopper is so much easier to pull out on a daily basis for small items than getting out my whole food processor. It is handy in chopping things up quicker than I otherwise would be able to and blending small amounts of food. I love using it to make a quick fresh salsa or whip together a dressing. In addition, I have a 7 month old baby and have used it to make homemade baby food. Super cute, easy to use and clean, and takes up very little space in my kitchen. An overall winner in my book.
