Salsas and pestos in a flash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried salsas and pestos and banana/avo soft serve and had a lot of success (except the avo wasn't totally incorporated. The chopper is quick and efficient to mince garlic, herbs, onions, veggies (some things you have to cut into smaller pieces first). When I made mayonnaise, I used the drizzle option and it worked great. To make any mayo you need to pour in a stream of oil while whirling away BUT the instructions specifically mention to only pulse and not keep the pulse button held down. This really should be re-thought, because to make some sauces you absolutely need to keep the motor whirling for proper emulsification. I'd rather not have to buy another machine so that I can make mayo.

Great Little Chopper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I are "full-time" RVers and we need kitchen appliances that are small and can easily be stored for travel. The KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper has been a great little appliance that I use quite a lot for chopping up vegetables to make things like stuffed peppers, Chinese stir fries, and things like that. After using it, it cleans up very quickly, ready to be used again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love having this small machine for the smaller jobs. It stays right on my counter, I love the fact that the cord is completely hidden when wrapped up in its compartment on the base.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pesto. Nuts. Salad dressings. Salsa. Grab and make it. Easy storage size with small footprint. Great power. Drip-in channel for pesto and other oils. What's not to like?! Not your unhandy giant appliance.

excellent for everyday use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3.5 cup food chopper over a month ago. I use it everyday and am enjoying it tremendously. It is so easy to clean except for the lid. I did download the instructions but I am afraid to use force and break it. I find I can soak it in hot sudsy water and rinse it and it is very clean if I first rinse it right away after I use it. I have a ten cup food processor but to puree soups it really does an amazing job. You can also chop. I am 74 years old and I wish I had had one when my children were at the stage of pureed foods and chopped up food. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this thinking that it would have the same features as the larger one that I had years ago. I was disappointed that it was more streamlined but is good for smaller usage. Chops veggies, blend just fine.
