NOT DISHWASHER SAFE!

I bought the 3.5 Cup Mini Food Processor about a month ago, and sometimes I clean it by hand, and at other times I put it in the dishwasher if I don't have the time. Just after a month, I put it in the dishwasher as usual and I found that the cup was bent inwards. I tried to put the lid on top of it, and it doesn't close at all. I have blenders from KitchenAid and Ninja that have survived in the dishwasher for years, but this is just disappointing. It does not live up to the dishwasher safety requirements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using kitchenaid food processors for more than a yr now. Just love them, simple to clean, simple to chop or puree, simple to connect with the customer service too! Just 2 things if fixed can make this far perfect, 1. The blade + food in the bowl makes it harder to place it on top of the machine sometimes. So i have to first place the empty bowl, add the blade and then the food. I wish this was fixed. 2. The chopping mode is also tooo fine sometimes, i wish it was a bit chunky and not so fine!!!!! Nothing of this is not not workable... Just minor improvements.

My life in the kitchen has gotten so much easier having this food processor, I don't know how I ever did without it sooner. I can chop an onion in about 4 seconds, in perfect, uniform pieces. I love that it can chop and puree. It doesn't hold a lot but it's the perfect size for chopping onions, nuts etc. I rarely need a larger one, but I do batches if I make a large amount. I don't know what people are talking about it being difficult to use. You just have to have the lid on properly in order for it to run. It's not difficult to figure out. It's a good safety feature that it doesn't run until the lid is on securely. I just bought another one today, so I can use one for onions and the other for sweet food. I LOVE both my Ice Blue and Empire Red food processors.

Super efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chopper replaces one I beat up by chopping loads that were too big, and hunks that were too big. This one seems a tad sturdier. Thr lid I s redesigned and is easier to fit on the container. For some reason, probably just haven't trained my hands, the container doesn't seem to fit on the motor base quite as easily as the old one. It chops quickly and beautifully, purees nicely. Very easy to take apart and clean. One of my most-used kitchen tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Cuisinart food processor, received as gift. Bowl chipped and pieces went?? Called was told warranty no longer good. Bought another 1 same thing happened called again they tried to say too old warranty no good. I told them all the above and they said ok and was to shop new bowl. Call Dec 1 this is Jan 22 still don't have new bowl. Called last week they said they were on back order. Never will deal with this company again. Love, love, love my kitchenaid food processor. Ease of use. Thinking about getting the larger size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this on the recommendation of KitchenAid customer service rep. She said she loved hers and used it often. I’ve had mine for about 6 weeks and I love it! It’s small enough to tuck away in my cupboard and light enough to get out for any chopping job. It cleans up easily in the dishwasher and I just love, love, love the fact that the cord winds up invisibly around the base and actually stays put. Yeah!

Wonderful little chopper

At present I am, not able to chew my food. I tried 3 other products before I bought this chopper. It is wonderful. It even chops raw apples and raw onions small enough so that I can eat them to maintain a healthy diet. It has awesome power. Anyone who has problems chewing will love this little machine. Mothers that wish to feed their babies raw food which is much healthier will also benefit from this little machine.
